VQ Feather is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

The standard we hold ourselves to.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the technical standard incorporated by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794d). WCAG AA is our floor, not our ceiling.

This statement describes the accessibility of our public marketing website. The Section 508 conformance of any specific product, deliverable, or system we develop under a Government contract is addressed separately through that contract, including any Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR/VPAT®) and acceptance criteria specified by the contracting agency.

Measures we take.

To support access for all visitors, we design and build the Site to meet WCAG AA color-contrast ratios; provide a visible keyboard focus indicator on every interactive element; support keyboard-only navigation with hit targets of at least 44×44 pixels; use semantic landmarks, headings, and labeled form inputs; provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons; avoid using color as the only way to convey information; and honor the operating-system “reduced motion” preference.

Accessibility is ongoing.

We test with a combination of automated tools and manual review and remediate issues as we find them. Because content and technology change, some parts of the Site may not yet fully conform. We are continually improving.
