Privacy Policy.

How we collect, use, and protect information on our website, and the choices you have.

Effective date: July 29, 2026 · Last updated: July 29, 2026

VQ Feather respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. Please read it alongside our Terms of Use.

Scope of this policy.

This policy applies to information collected through vqfeather.io and other public VQ Feather web surfaces that link to it (together, the “Site”). It describes the practices of VQ Feather LLC, a Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture between LightFeather and VariQ Corporation, a Capgemini Government Solutions subsidiary (“VQ Feather,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

It does not govern information you provide to third parties, information handled through separate services or portals with their own notices, or, as described below, information we process on behalf of our government and commercial clients under contract.

Information handled under Government contracts.

VQ Feather and its joint-venture members are U.S. Government contractors. When we collect, process, store, or transmit information in the course of performing services under a Government contract or subcontract (including work under the GSA Polaris GWAC), that information is governed by the terms of the applicable contract and by federal law and regulation (including, as applicable, the Privacy Act of 1974, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency supplements, and safeguarding requirements for Controlled Unclassified Information under 32 C.F.R. Part 2002 and NIST SP 800-171), not by this website Privacy Policy. Nothing on this Site is intended to collect, and you should not submit through it, any government-furnished, classified, or controlled information.

Information we collect.

We collect the information you choose to give us, for example when you complete a contact form or email us (typically your name, organization, email address, and the contents of your message), or otherwise communicate with us. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may also automatically collect certain technical information, which may include your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits, using cookies and similar technologies described below.

How we use information.

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and provide information you request; operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; understand how visitors use the Site through aggregated analytics; detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Cookies and analytics.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate the Site and to remember your cookie choices. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We have configured it so that its analytics cookies do not load until you consent through our cookie banner, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking. To learn more, see Google’s Privacy Policy; you may also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” control in the footer, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Declining analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the Site. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

How we share information.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as hosting and analytics) under obligations to protect it; when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of VQ Feather, our members, our clients, or others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Your privacy rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, such as California, Virginia, and Colorado, may have additional rights. We do not use your information for “sales” or cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under those laws. To exercise a right, contact us at contracts@vqfeather.io and reference “Privacy.” We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Data security and retention.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information collected through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy and to comply with our legal and contractual obligations.

Children’s privacy and third-party links.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control; this policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

How to contact us.
